QUALCOMM is delivering the first chipset products from the Snapdragon platform to a number of device manufacturers, offering an 'unprecedented combination' of mobile data processing, multimedia performance, 3G wireless connectivity and the lowest levels of power consumption for all-day battery life.

ACCORDING to reports in Swiss newspapers, the Swiss broadcast regulator BAKOM has allocated a DVB-H licence to Swisscom Broadcast, one of two companies that applied for the licence. As part of the licence agreement, Swisscom Broadcast will set up a DVB-H network that will be available to all mobile telecom operators, including Swisscom, Orange, and Sunrise.
