SPB takes mobile TV to feature phones

Mobile software developer SPB Software has launched a WAP version of its flagship mobile solution SPB TV thus extending the mobile TV solution to the mass of users with feature phones.
The mobile TV programme is already available on iPhones plus Android, Symbian, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, and WebOS smartphones and is said to offer 3G customers a free mobile IP TV solution with the state-of-the-art TV-like user experience. SPB believes that mobile phone owners, no matter where they are, can now get easy and instant access to over a 150 subscription-free TV channels from more than 20 countries, using SPB TV on their phones.
SPB TV has been deployed by a number of large mobile operators including Singaporean mobile operator StarHub and Russian operators SkyLink and MTS, racking up over a million users. It provides mobile users with TV features including like a TV browser with quick channel-launching and channel-switching, a TV guide for all offered channels, video on demand shows and a video quality switcher.
