With the increase in mobile streaming, Mirror Image claims that streaming traffic (both fixed and mobile) now represents over 70% of total traffic on its global network, evidence it believes of a dramatic shift in content strategy.

To this end, over the last six months, the company has invested an additional $3 million into its streaming network, purchasing new streaming servers, storage capacity for large objects as well as increasing bandwidth capacity for high definition video.
Explained James G. Hart, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Mirror Image Internet, "Our customers are running complex and multifaceted campaigns, of which streaming plays an integral role. Our ability to offer a network with the capacity and diversity to meet any video need- internet or mobile- while maintaining our commitment to customer service has fueled our growth and ongoing investments in our network."
